As an adjunct photography instructor in the state of Texas I put many miles on my car as I travel from one university to another. Through cities and small towns and on freeways and 2 lane roads I shoot and explore.
This series started as a challenge from one of my students. He didn't think that the highway between his town and the school was particularly interesting. I disagreed and started shooting during my weekly commutes. These are some the things that I "drive by" on a daily basis. My next step is combining the city/urban vistas with these.
