It was an honor to be asked to judge the Juried Student Art Exhibition at USI. The work was both challenging and well crafted. Here are some images from the show. It’s still on display at USI in Evansville. Stop by.
Great news! One of my images was chosen to be included in WHAT KEEPS YOU UP AT NIGHT?
an SPE Multicultural Caucus Portfolio/Exhibition
Given the tumultuous state of the world, and the focus of the nation during an Election Year, many things are on many minds. How does this manifest in your practice? Responses to key issues in debates? Responses to the ones that aren’t spoken about? Responses to global events? Local events? Personal events?
Imagining possible futures, what are you hoping for as we move into the next four years? What keeps you up at night?
HOSTED BY: The Arts at CIIS, California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco, California. Organized and selected by Tomiko Jones, Curator-in-Residence, SPEMCC Member.
EXHIBITION Showcase the breadth of work coming from SPEMCC photographers across the nation. The Arts at CIIS will frame approximately 25 images for our Fourth Floor exhibition space; exhibition is designed to travel.
Check out South Asian Photo Blog. It’s an international photo blog by my friend and photographer, Betsy Williamson. Thanks Betsy for sharing my thoughts on “inspiration!”
Where does inspiration come from? Post
